Anonymous asked: Hi I have a question I've seen you post loads of weed stuff. I like to smoke but my problem is my parents won't allow it. My mom is kinda alright with it, I showed her this great documentary called The Union and she's come to accept it but my dad is completely against it and all I want is to have my own plant so I can grow it myself and be happy. Do your parents know? How can I make my dad stop being such a fucking tyrant?
I’ve had a few talks with my parents but they’re mostly okay with it, my mom used to smoke when she was young, so it isn’t much of a big deal. My dad doesn’t like it, but he doesn’t comment on it and we don’t talk to him about it and that’s it. I mean, it’s not like I smoke in front of them, I also make sure they don’t see me when I have.
But what’s the key here: I keep up with my responsabilities, I go to class, I study, I try to keep my grades good, I play sports (or do some other recreative activities), I (try to) don’t cause trouble, I help out in the house… in other words, I don’t stop being a normal person because of it, it doesn’t take away other things, it doesn’t keep me from fulfilling my duties as a daughter/student/worker etc. And you need them to see that, that it’s just something you do from time to time to relax and have a good time, just like having a drink.
Documentaries are a good start :)
But first of all: Do your research.
When you go to the discussion you need to have comebacks for every little argument they might have against your position, if your parents are judgimental, I’d guess It’s because they believe in everything that’s socially believed in about weed. It kills neurons (makes you stupid, lowers your IQ), it’s the opening for other stronger and more dangerous drugs, etc. That kind of shit.
For example, most people don’t know that the marijuana addiction rate is 9% while alcohol addiction rate it’s 25-30% and nicotine it’s 32%
If you wanna get scientific (I do, cause I study nursing and I have a lot of biology and physiology and shit), you can study the exact effects THC has on your body in the short and long term, you’ll find out it’s WAY less dangerous and alcohol and cigarettes which are both widely consumed “legal drugs”.
For having a plant, well bro, it’s all natural. It’s a plant. A plant. It comes from mother nature. What else can you possibly ask for? It’s not processed, it’s not chemically modified, it’s not mixed with other things you probably want nothing to do with.
You can approach it on that side, also, if you don’t have your own, where you’re making sure it’s 100% natural, you’re going to be spending lots of money, getting weed of dubious quality, hanging around “dangerous people”, as in dealers (that’s not what I think, but let’s work with parent thinking here), and you risk getting caught by cops while buying it.
You’re gonna be smoking it anyway, make them weight out the pros and cons of buying versus growing.
I can’t think of any more advice right now, but that’s mostly it, keep yourself informed (safechoice.org is a good place to start), investigate about places where marijuana is legal (quality of life, crimes, etc.), and try your best to make them see you’re doing nothing wrong, in fact smoking weed causes way less damage than a lot of other legal practices and it gives you a happier day to day life :) And keep up with your duties, show them it doesn’t keep you from being a responsible human being.

Sometimes I wonder about people who get self-conscious about scars
I, personally, think scars are very interesting, they make a person interesting, cause there’s a story here, something that happened to put the mark on the person’s body
and I like to believe that whatever it was, and however bad, it had a positive outcome in the end, cause it’s something they survived, an experience that, no matter how horrible, hopefully made them grow and changed their perspective on the world, that maybe they live their lives to the fullest because of it, and enjoy everyday more than I do
that they have a story to tell and maybe I’ll get o hear it and learn from it, too
I like to think of the scars as a testimony, something that tells the world: this happened to me and I pulled through

i don’t know if i’m using the right concept here, but i think that nature made us to be bisexual, if not, to either be heterosexual or homosexual
the clitoris, which is the only part of both the male and the female body whose only purpose is pleasure, is outside of the vagina, reachable to anyone, and the so called “g-spot” or orgasmic platform, is located in the outter third of the vagina, also perfectly reachable
